Amiee’s Journey: From Fear to Freedom with UltraPaws
Some dogs carry stories heavier than their paws should ever have to bear — and Amiee is one of them.
Amiee arrived in the UK from Bulgaria after being rescued in a heartbreaking condition no dog should ever experience. Scared, unsure, and deeply mistrustful of people (especially men in high‑vis clothing or lanyards), she began her new life with her incredible owner, Anne.
For the past two and a half years, Anne has poured love, patience, and consistency into helping Amiee heal. She’s already overcome so many fears, but getting out into the community and feeling confident on walks remained a huge challenge.
That’s when Anne reached out to UltraPaws.
Working gently and gradually, Mark and McKenzie have been helping Amiee build trust, explore safely, and rediscover the world at her own pace. No pressure. No rushing. Just steady, positive experiences and a whole lot of encouragement.
And now?
Amiee is stepping out into the world with more confidence than ever.
